Dondero Spiritwear Committee Chair: Chris Casa

This is a fundraiser offered through PTA providing students and parents the opportunity to buy Dondero logo apparel. This is a one person volunteering opportunity. The sale usually runs in the fall. Two notices are sent out in the Wednesday packets, and the money is collected in the office. At the end of the sale, the volunteer processes the orders and deposits the money. The order is placed with a local business in Portsmouth, and when the apparel arrives, it is boxed by grade and teacher and distributed. October & November.

Popcorn Committee Chair: Sally Zwick

Volunteers pop popcorn every Friday morning, which is available to all students at 50 cents a bag. Two volunteers work each week from 8.45 to 11:30 popping and bagging popcorn. Each volunteer would work a few shifts during the school year. No popping experience necessary! The chair is responsible for buying the supplies, setting up on Friday mornings, organizing volunteers to pop, cleaning the popper when they're done for the day and counting and depositing the money. Every Friday!.

Election Day Bakesale Committee Chair: Alana Chestnut

When you go to vote, who doesn't like a nice treat to get you through those tough decisions? It's a fun tradition and a great contribution to our community. We need people to help set up, sell the goods, and of course lots of yummy baked goods! Tuesday, November 8.

Scholastic Book Fair Committee Chair: Chris Casa

This is a week-long event that is located in the main foyer of the school. The chairperson works with the company to secure the date of the sale, as well as the delivery and pick up. The chairperson usually opens and closes the fair each day. Volunteers are needed each day to cover shifts at the fair. Money is counted and deposited every other day. At the end of the fair there is a form to fill in and to send to the company. The chairperson books the next year's fair in order to secure discounts.
